2024-09-052024-09-042024-09-052022-02-08https://repositorio.ifal.edu.br/handle/123456789/694Teaching and learning are characterized by directing the social and educational formation of students, highlighting the teaching of science to children, where complete or scientific explanations must be provided for doubts and curiosities that are present in their daily lives, and it is worth noting that curiosities are generated by observations made in the environment in which they are inserted. The enhancement of children's curiosity will result in relevant discoveries, but for that it is necessary that science teaching be worked with contents related to the scientific world in an attractive way and close to the children's reality. The methodological procedures carried out were a bibliographic review, using three articles from national scientific journals in the area of Education in Science teaching, in addition to that, subsidies were also sought in legal documents such as the National Curricular Parameters and the National Common Curricular Base. The articles were selected with a time frame of 05 (five) years, from 2016 to 2020. With the results of the review carried out, it was found that science teaching in the early grades is of great importance for the formation of conscious citizens, able to exercise citizenship and be active in society.
