This modality mostly involves students who, for some specific reason, had to leave school. and see in this modality the possibility of training and thus entering the formal job market, many of these students had been out of the classroom for a long time, which makes the teacher's job even more difficult. The purpose of this study is to understand how the teaching-learning process and attendance can be improved through practical classes involving students from Youth and Adult Education at Escola Estadual Geraldo Melo dos Santos, in the subject of natural sciences. In classes, everyday subjects and practices are covered and new compounds are also presented that are unknown to their knowledge, but which are linked to their daily lives. Students play an active role in classes through practical activities. Furthermore, we seek to exemplify the relevance of science in everyday life, focusing on the concepts presented in the subject, which are part of the modular EJA planning.
