In this context, the main objective is to develop a project at the preliminary study level for a study room at a fictitious institution located in the city of Maceió-AL. The project aims to provide children with socio-educational development, as well as comfort and safety, presenting research on the influence of Interior Design on behavior and well-being, applying technical knowledge and practical experiences in order to contribute to the quality of life of children. according to the needs of children and their respective activities. Therefore, to carry out the work, a study was carried out on scientific articles, academic theses and books by authors related to the themes: Interior Design in children's environments, Foster Care Institutions and Child Development. Using the types of research methodology: Qualitative approach (research based on analysis); Applied nature (practical applications of knowledge); Exploratory objectives (bibliographical surveys, interviews and visits to institutions); and action research procedure.
