Item A batucada do Barro Vermelho e a valorização cultural(2023) Santos, Ana Paula Lima dos; França, Márcio Abreu de; França, Márcio Abreu de; Doria, Bruna Ferrari Machado; Valença, André Luiz SantosThis work aims to discuss the culture of batucada in the red neighborhood and the appreciation of local culture, observing the potential of batucada as content for the practice of cultural education in the municipality of Penedo, Alagoas. Addressing education and its role in culture, we take as a reference the batucada Milionários do Samba from the Santo Antônio neighborhood, known as Barro Vermelho. The methodology applied involves reviewing the literature on cultural education, documentary research on the history of batucada in Brazil and exploratory research on the batucada Milionários do Samba. Taking as a theoretical basis the distinction between formal and popular training processes, the research points to the possibilities of adapting educational practices in the municipality, so that they can encompass the culture of batucada, especially in basic education, with the aim of highlighting the characteristic of cultural manifestations. local areas of Barro Vermelho and their potential to strengthen identity bonds. It is concluded that the visibility of local cultural practices, via formal educational processes or based on local knowledge, also accentuates the identity ties of residents and contributes to the visibility of a cultural identity different from the municipality of Penedo itself.Item A comercialização da produção camponesa na feira livre da cidade de Penedo (AL)(2022) Santos, Kamyly Tereza da Silva; Gomes, Carlos Marcelo Marciel; Gomes, Carlos Marcelo Marciel; Wanderley, Lucas Suassuna de Albuquerque; Lima, Maira Egito Alves deThe open market in the city of Penedo (AL) has great economic, social and environmental importance and is part of the countryside-city relationship. In this bias, the general objective of the research is to analyze the productive dynamics of the open markets in the city of PenedoAL: observing the importance of family farming for the open market and also in the city's economy, as a sustainable means of production; analyzing the city of Penedo-AL as a power to produce its own food products; and, finally, identifying the main subjects and places of origin of the products. The methodology used was through readings, guidelines, records, application of a questionnaire, photographic records and cartographic production. In this way, through the research it was possible to map the origin of the products, most of them outside the municipality of Penedo, and to affirm the open market as a place of resistance in relation to the great logistics of productions and logics of agribusiness, having most of the products marketed made by small producers in the peasant logic.Item A contribuição da química analítica na elucidação de crimes(2025) Aureliano, Anne Adrielle Calheiros Aureliano; Silva, Marina de Magalhães; Silva, Marina de Magalhães; Nascimento, Amanda Luise Alves; Barbosa , Amaury Franklin BenvindoCrimes represent complex challenges for security and justice systems, requiring rigorous scientific methods for the elucidation and accountability of those involved. Analytical Chemistry plays a crucial role in the detection and identification of chemical substances and traces, using methods such as mass spectrometry, chromatography, and DNA analysis. This work investigates the relationship between Analytical Chemistry and forensic investigation, highlighting how analytical techniques are applied in solving crimes. The study addresses, through a literature review, the main forensic methodologies, focusing on their contributions to crime scene reconstruction and the collection of precise evidence. The research aims to understand how these tools assist the justice system by improving the reliability of forensic results in criminal investigations. The results demonstrate the relevance of analytical techniques in consolidating scientific evidence. It was found that the accuracy and specificity of the methods contribute to more effective investigations. The application of these tools strengthens the connection between science and justice.Item A disciplina de desenho técnico na formação do técnico em Meio Ambiente do IFAL: uma abordagem sobre a integração curricular(2021) Dória, Bruna Maria Ferrari Machado; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de MeloThe environmental technical high school course at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), in the campi of the Penedo and Marechal Deodoro, has the subject of Technical Drawing in its curriculum whose goal is the domain, identification, development, reading and interpretation of common elements and geometric tracings necessary for the language and graphic representation of technical drawings. With a single syllabus for practically all courses and campi, and disjointed from other curricular components, especially those from professional training, Technical Drawing does not attend to curricular integration. Its contents are taught isolated and not directly related to other subjects. In this sense, a survey was conducted with other teachers with the aim of investigating subjects that are related to Techinical Drawing, and evaluate the contents that can be adapted to integrate the curricular components of these subjcts to optimize the teaching-learning process. There was a need to develop an Educational Product, in the form of teaching material that make it possible to accomplish the necessary curricular adaptations and also help teachers to teach the appropriate content, linking it to technical areas. The research space will be the Quilombola Tabuleiro dos Negros community, located in Penedo-Alagoas, which for us is a social space, where individual agents are found who can develop their social, cultural and economic activities, through the promotion of courses in training that improve their practices and also enable innovation in relation to what they already practice. The theoretical method is based on the implicit idea of cultural capital by formal education and the methodology for collecting data in the field (safety protocols and data use authorization) is the focus group, made with young people from the community. Research shows that one of the consequences of pregnancy is school dropout and other consequences are: prejudice, family pressure, school, among others. The objective of this work is to study the causes and consequences of pregnancy in adolescents and school age. In the study carried out, the results obtained indicate that no teenager planned the pregnancy; early pregnancy led teenagers to drop out of school due to several factors; lack of family support and most of these adolescents are from low-income families. This article aims to analyze the importance of quality control in this sector, focusing on contamination prevention, compliance with sanitary regulations, and consumer satisfaction. It is a bibliographic, qualitative research based on the review of scientific articles, technical standards, and regulations related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system. The findings show that the effective implementation of these tools significantly contributes to food safety, brand credibility, and industry competitiveness. It is concluded that quality control should be regarded as a strategic investment, essential for the sustainable and responsible development of the food industry.Item A importância dos contos infanto-juvenis no processo de formação de leitores fluentes(2024) Santos, Jozicleia da Silva; Guimarães, Joaquim Francisco Soares; Guimarães, Joaquim Francisco Soares; Pereira Júnior, Reinaldo Rafael de Albuquerque; Silva, Waldinei SantosThe article in question, “The Importance of Children’s and Young Adult Stories in the Process of Developing Fluent Readers,” presents a reflection on the relevance of children’s and young adult stories as a way of highlighting the importance of reading through storytelling, reflecting on the methodologies that are effective in the process of developing fluent readers. To this end, we anchored these articles in the following objectives: general objective: to investigate whether children’s and young adult literature and storytelling are crucial points in the development of fluent readers. The specific objectives were thus guided: to identify the methodologies that theorists present for working with children’s and young adult literature stories; to reflect on the training and skills of readers in Elementary School. The relevance of this research is attributed to the crucial role that literary stories play for children and adolescents in developing their reading skills. There are still several problems to be solved in relation to children’s and young adult stories, some of which are resistance to traditional reading, quality and accessibility of material, cultural diversity, and representativeness. Thus, the question is: why is it that this practice, in the classroom of Elementary School II, is not as strong when compared to Early Childhood Education and Elementary School I? The methodology of this research was anchored in a bibliographical research that was based on studies of some theorists, who address the theme, and on the use of paradidactic books such as: “The importance of the act of reading: articles that complement each other”, “Children's and Young Adult Literature”; “The pedagogy of affection in the classroom”; “The uncertain frontiers of young adult literature?”; “The importance of listening to fairy tales”, among others. The UN highlights its importance in preventing waterborne diseases and protecting public health. In this context, this work aims to analyze the importance of water treatment for public health. To this end, bibliographical research was carried out with analysis of scientific articles and course completion papers, using keywords related to sanitation and public health. The work presents the concept of drinking water and its quality parameters, highlighting physical, chemical and microbiological aspects that directly influence the health of the population, with an emphasis on Brazilian legislation. Furthermore, the impact of the lack of sanitation and water treatment in Brazil is discussed, with alarming data on hospitalizations and inequality of access between regions. The study concludes by emphasizing that investing in basic sanitation is fundamental to guaranteeing health, reducing public spending and promoting social well-being.Item A percepção do uso de energia solar na cidade de Penedo, AL(2022) Dias, Michael Alves; Pinheiro, Pablo; Pinheiro, Pablo; Christiano, Daniel; Silva, Oberlan daWith the high demand for energy consumption in the world, it has been necessary to search for solutions for clean energy generation, increasingly removing the need to use energy from non-renewable sources. In this sense, the present work aims to collect information to know the perception of the use and investment of a photovoltaic system of the Penedense population. Thus, the perception of a portion of the population to the use, benefit and interest in the acquisition of this photovoltaic system, through a quantitative survey by Google Forms, with sixty respondents. The results showed a significant understanding of the interviewees about the importance of the photovoltaic system in the economy and in the environment.Item A presença de contaminantes químicos em alimentos e seus efeitos na saúde humana(2025) Pereira , Alana Kelly da Silva; Silva, Marina de Magalhães; Silva, Marina de Magalhães; Leitão, Ana Laura Oliveira de Sá; Góis , Geogia Nayane Silva BeloThe presence of chemical contaminants in food is a growing concern globally, driven by the intensification of agricultural and industrial production. Potentially toxic substances can be unintentionally introduced at various stages of the food production chain, posing risks to public health. This paper aims to analyze the main sources of chemical contamination in food, the effects on human health, and the control and monitoring mechanisms implemented to ensure food safety. Contaminants such as pesticide residues, veterinary drugs, heavy metals, mycotoxins, improper use of food additives, and compounds from processing and packaging will be discussed. The possible health effects include cancer, neurological, reproductive, cardiovascular, and respiratory disorders. The study also emphasizes the importance of adopting Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), implementing the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system, and the role of education and training as simple preventive measures to minimize the risks of chemical contamination and ensure the safety of food for public consumption.Item A química dos óleos essenciais(2025) Barreto, Neyse Natália dos Santos; Chaves, Taciana Carneiro; Chaves, Taciana Carneiro; Gois, Georgia Nayane Silva Belo; Silva, Marina de MagalhãesThis article aims to analyze essential oils, volatile compounds rich in terpenes and phenols, highlighting their multiple applications and quality challenges. Considering their relevance in aromatherapy, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, agriculture, and food products, the study demonstrates how environmental factors, plant parts used, and extraction methods directly influence their properties. For this, a literature review was carried out using books, undergraduate theses, dissertations, doctoral theses, and articles available on academic platforms such as Science Direct, Scopus, Scielo, and Google Scholar. The analysis highlights the importance of quality control through techniques like GC-MS to ensure purity and safety, particularly in therapeutic applications. Although Brazil faces challenges in standardizing this market, the growing demand for natural products is driving the adoption of stricter regulations. It is concluded that the full use of the sustainable potential of essential oils depends on the integration between scientific research, technological development, and appropriate regulatory frameworks, aiming for safe and effective applications in various sectors.Item A reutilização dos resíduos da cana-de-açúcar para produção do etanol de 2ª geração(2022) Marques, Evyllin Sabrina Ciriaco; Cunha, Simonise Figueiredo Amarante; Cunha , Simonise Figueiredo Amarante; Leitão, Ana Laura Oliveira de Sá; Dória, Bruna Maria Ferrari MachadoCurrently, the world is in a scenario with a significant increase in the demand for ethanol. At the same time, Brazil stands out as one of the countries with the greatest technological evolution regarding the manufacture of second-generation ethanol (E2G), a biofuel that limits the negative consequences on the environment. Following this bias, the present research is carried out due to the need for the use of fuels by the current society and aims to discuss, through a bibliographic survey, about the production of E2G through sugarcane residues, thus emphasizing the importance of bagasse and sugarcane straw during this process, by-products that stand out for being the most used in this process in Brazil. In addition, the steps of manufacturing second- generation ethanol are described: pre-treatment, enzymatic hydrolysis, fermentation and distillation. Finally, with a sustainable purpose, at the end of the bibliographic survey and description of the manufacturing steps, the production of 2G ethanol is carried out.Item A temática da educação ambiental para as séries finais do Ensino Fundamental: estudo de caso(2022) Silva, Beatriz Freire da; Gama, José Aparecido da Silva; Gama, José Aparecido da Silva; Andrade, Michelle Vieira; Santos, José Roberto Nunes dosEnvironmental issues have never been as much on the agenda as they are today, we are feeling in our skin, in our daily lives, an urgent need for transformations to overcome environmental injustices, social inequality, the appropriation of nature and humanity itself as objects of exploitation. and consumption. At the present time, we live in a culture of risk, with effects that are often beyond our ability to directly perceive, but considerably increasing the evidence that they can affect not only the lives of those who produce them, but those of other people, species and up to generations. Environmental education thus assumes its part in facing this crisis, radicalizing its commitment to changes in values, behaviors, feelings and attitudes, which must be carried out together with the totality of the inhabitants of each territorial base, in a permanent, continuous way and for all. The present work aims to carry out an Analysis of the Insertion of Environmental Education in a public school in Penedo-AL. The results found indicate that the analyzed school has carried out environmental projects with practices of environmental education, thus assuming its social commitment to the environmental concern of the students. Despite this, it is concluded that the school studied does not have specific regulations that define environmental education as a mandatory part of the school curriculum. However, in association with subjects such as science/biology, and the predisposition of students and teachers, the theme of environmental education has been disseminated, providing students with a broad and continuous learning experience.Item A utilização de material de apoio didático como auxílio as aulas do gênero dissertativo-argumentativo(2022) Pinheiro, Fabiano Silva; Dias, Marcos Antônio de Araújo; Dias, Marcos Antônio de Araújo; Marques, Tânia Maria Ferreira; Montes, Nadija SantosIn 2019, the extension project “Accompanying the production of essays at school” was developed, whose objective was to help students who were completing high school. In order to facilitate the mediation of learning about the knowledge of writing texts, essays and seeking to alleviate the difficulties encountered by students in this modality, didactic alternatives were proposed aimed at encouraging the reading and writing of texts of the dissertation-argumentative genre, promoting the ability to to execute problem-situations with regard to the various events that involve humanity. This practice consists of improving the physical, chemical and/or biological characteristics of the soil, it functions by replenishing nutrients, such as nitrogen, which is the main nutritive element and is supplied from legumes, in addition to supplying organic matter to the area being applied. Thus, this study aims to present, in the form of a literature review, the benefits of applying green manure in sugarcane cultivation. For this, the context about the importance of sugarcane for its industry was made, as well the definition of green manure and its effects on soil characteristics, beside highlighting some of the most used species for nutrition and atmospheric nitrogen fixation. Therefore, green manure is a vegetative practice that makes it possible to reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers.Item Agrotóxicos: impactos na agricultura alagoana(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2021-10-22) Nascimento, Alailson Araújo do; Oliveira, André Luiz dos; Oliveira, André Luiz dos; Rocha, Martha Suzana Rodrigues dos Santos; Chaves, Taciana CarneiroAgriculture is of significant importance to the economy of Alagoas, but its expansion generates an indiscriminate use of pesticides, causing impacts on agricultural practices and on the population of the state. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the consumption of pesticides and use agrarian practices with natural foods, in order to generate a better quality of life. I this regard, on the massive use of pesticides in agroecosystems, as well as the consequent impacts of this type of product on the environment and society, this monograph objectifies the need for legislative sanitary actions consistent with the control, assistance to populations and exposed agricultural areas to pesticides. This is a literature review study in the State of Alagoas, with information from the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) and the Agricultural Defense and Inspection Agency of Alagoas (ADEAL). The largest sector in agriculture in Alagoas, sugarcane, which occupies 453 thousand ha, was observed the use of pesticides such as herbicides, fungicides and insecticides, the chemical group of glycines, bipyridyls, strobilurins and neonicotinoids, causing environmental problems and diseases. Some inconsistencies were identified on the inspection of health policies, however the exemption from the Tax on the Circulation of Goods and Provision of Services (ICMS) allowed greater freedom of use, making them common, directly implying the better development of agricultural activities in the economy of Alagoas, above all there is sustainable production free of pesticides, organic agriculture, which is part of family farming, thus allowing for a natural handling of food as well as improving the quality of human and environmental life.Item Aguardente de cana-de-açúcar (cachaça): processo produtivo aos riscos ocupacionais(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-04-27) Alves, Arthur Mateus Ferreira; Rocha, Martha Suzana Rodrigues dos Santos; Rocha, Martha Suzana Rodrigues dos Santos; Cavalcante, Maria da Conceição Matos; Silva, Wcleuton OliveiraSugarcane brandy or cachaça is a drink appreciated by many people. However, its production process consists of several risks and accidents at work, so it is of great importance to analyze which risks workers are subject to in their work environment. The methodology adopted for the construction of the work consisted of research by bibliographic review and field research, which aimed to analyze the occupational risks in the production of cachaça, propose solutions to mitigate these risks and associate the regulatory norms. In view of the study, it appears that workers are vulnerable to the most diverse occupational risks in their work environment, associated with the production process of cachaça. Many times, accidents at work occur due to the lack of good working conditions and lack of good training to perform the tasks, so it is of paramount importance that the industry propose ways to mitigate these risks and implement the necessary standards. to have an optimal production, thus providing the well-being of the workers and the best development in their functions.Item Análise das fontes e impactos da poluição atmosférica em Penedo-AL(2025) Santos, Natália Rodrigues dos; Lenz, Tiago de Moraes; Pinheiro, Pablo; Fontenele, Thaline Luize Ribeiro; Lenz, Tiago de MoraesThis study aims to identify the main sources of air pollution in the municipality of Penedo-AL and assess their impacts on human health and the local environment. The research adopted a qualitative approach, combining a literature review with a semi-structured questionnaire applied to the Municipal Secretariat of Environment and Water Resources (SEMARH). The results indicate that the primary sources of air pollution are the sugarcane industry and agricultural burning, which lead to air quality degradation, damage to vegetation, and contamination of soil and water. Respiratory problems are the most common health impacts. SEMARH monitors pollution through public complaints, employing educational measures and fines for repeated offenses. However, the absence of regular awareness campaigns about burning was noted. The study recommends creating green areas, strengthening environmental enforcement, and promoting the use of cleaner public transportation, alongside the adoption of renewable energy sources. Environmental education and strict law enforcement are essential to improving the quality of life in the municipality and ensuring a sustainable future.Item Análise das metodologias utilizadas na educação ambiental no ensino da educação básica no estado de Alagoas(2024) Mendonça, Rayane Santos de Almeida; Almeida, Jacqueline Praxedes de; Pinheiro, Pablo; Francisco, Kleyse Galdino; Araújo, Limdemberg Medeiros de; Almeida, Jacqueline Praxedes deEnvironmental Education (EE) plays a fundamental role in promoting awareness and training environmentally responsible citizens. In the State of Alagoas, as well as in several other regions, EA has been the object of study and implementation in public and private schools. This article proposes a detailed analysis of the EE approach in these institutions, focusing on identifying the practices and strategies used to promote environmental awareness among students. Using state-of-the-art methodology, this study carried out a mapping and analysis of academic production related to EE, aiming to understand the approaches found and the gaps that exist in environmental teaching. In this context, scientific articles, Course Conclusion Papers (TCCs) and dissertations published online between 2013 and 2023 were analyzed, covering the practice of EA from Elementary to High School. 87 works were identified that address the topic of EA, including the carrying out of temporary projects or activities carried out over short periods of time, but also a gap in the continuity of discussions and the implementation of long-term projects.
