This Final Graduation Project aims to develop a functional and ergonomic layout that optimizes the flows of the customer service room in a tire distributor store, aiming at the ergonomic adaptation of the space, internal movements, and environmental conditions. The specific objectives are: to deepen knowledge about ergonomics applied to commercial spaces, highlighting its relevance to the performance and well-being of users; to study circulation and interaction flows in customer service environments, focusing on their relationship with interior design and ergonomics; and to propose solutions for functional and ergonomic improvement of the layout and flows of the customer service room in a tire distributor store, based on the arrangement of the furniture and equipment existing in the environment. To achieve these objectives, the following guiding question was formulated: What layout and flow improvements can ergonomic requirements provide to the customer service room, favoring the functionality of the environment and the well-being of users? The methodology adopted was based on applied research, with a qualitative approach, focusing on the understanding of the work environment and the search for adequate alternatives, grounded in studies of Ergonomics and Interior Design. The expected results include the creation of a more functional and comfortable environment, benefiting both employees and customers. Among the main expected contributions are the increase in performance in the work environment, the improvement of user experience, and the enhancement of the company’s image. The study proves to be relevant in the academic and professional field by highlighting the importance of interior design in the optimization of commercial spaces.
