Item Implementação do Programa de Gerenciamento de Riscos – PGR em setor de caldeira industrial(2025-12-09) Viana, Cristiano dos Santos; Sgarbi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8780753465531965; Mello, Antônio José Plácido de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0309790016077124; Almeida, Lúcia Guimar Bastos Fragoso de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8222242007069284; Sgarbi, Victor Souza; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8780753465531965The metallurgical industry is characterized by high-hazard operations, classified as Risk Level 3 due to constant exposure to physical, chemical, and ergonomic agents. This study aims to analyze occupational hazards and risks in the boilermaking sector of a metallurgical plant located in Marechal Deodoro – AL, aiming to analyzing a Risk Management Program (PGR) based on NR-01. The methodology consists of a descriptive case study with a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative), involving a literature review, in loco inspections, and instrumental measurements. For noise assessment, an audio dosimeter was used, comparing the results with the tolerance limits established by NR-15. The results revealed sound pressure levels of up to 90.5 dB(A) for the boilermaker function, in addition to the identification of risks related to manganese, non-ionizing radiation, and inadequate ergonomic demands, such as forced postures. The criticality analysis, conducted through a risk matrix (probability x severity), allowed for the structuring of a hierarchical action plan. The proposed measures include the biomechanical adaptation of workbenches, the installation of shielding for radiation, and strengthening the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). It is concluded that the systematic integration between the PGR and the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO) is essential for the mitigation of accidents and occupational diseases, reaffirming that proactive management and continuous monitoring are the pillars for operational sustainability and the preservation of the physical integrity of employees.
