Envisioned by Bergson Afonso Mendes de Albuquerque, a student of Civil Engineering, the initiative seeks to integrate, in a single virtual environment, content accumulated throughout his academic journey, including slides, summaries, solved exercises, reports, technical drawings, spreadsheets, videos, among others. It is a unique project that stands out for the breadth of its collection and the organization aimed at supporting students and teachers in the field. In the scope of this work, there are currently no public records of similar undertakings in terms of scope or proposal, which gives the platform a pioneering character. The Omnis Library is also an experiment in educational innovation and knowledge sharing, with the potential to expand into other engineering fields and areas of knowledge.Item Disponibilidade de mão de obra qualificada na construção civil em Maceió - AL: análise a partir de engenheiros de obras verticais(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2026-07-08) Feitosa, Rhayldson de Holanda; Limeira, Uziel Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2469128647529432; Cavalcanti, Humberto Jorge Braga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3186056276253916; Rangel, Maria Gabriela Lira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1386751201245014Recognized as one of the foundations of national growth, the civil construction industry is essential to the country's socioeconomic dynamics, heavily driving job creation and structural modernization. However, the sector faces growing and structural difficulties related to labor shortages and qualifications—a scenario that worsens in Maceió-AL due to the high demand for vertical developments driven by recent urban transformations and a surging market. In this context, this research aims to analyze the availability of qualified labor and its impacts on civil construction in Maceió, based on the experience of engineering managers of vertical construction projects linked to member companies of the Association of Real Estate Market Companies of Alagoas (ADEMI) in the year 2026. To this end, the study sought to identify the occupations with the greatest recruitment difficulties; assess the impacts of this scarcity on project schedules, costs, and productivity; investigate the mitigation strategies adopted by construction companies; and characterize the future prospects of the sector. Methodologically, this work is classified as applied research, with a quantitative and qualitative approach, and an exploratory and descriptive nature. Procedures involved a literature review and field research using a structured electronic questionnaire. This instrument was administered to a sample of 38 engineers responsible for executing vertical construction projects in Maceió-AL, yielding 22 voluntary survey responses. The results revealed unanimously that companies face recruitment difficulties and have noticed a reduction in the supply of qualified workers over the last five years, with the bricklayer role identified as the most critical bottleneck. A lack of interest from younger generations and low technical qualification were pointed out as the core causes of this deficit, which severely impacts productivity (86.4%), project schedules (77.3%), and construction execution costs (68.2%). Furthermore, current mitigation strategies—such as wage improvements and the adoption of new technologies—are considered poorly effective by 86.4% of managers, culminating in a pessimistic outlook where 81.8% predict that labor scarcity will persist over the next decade. It is concluded that overcoming this deficit sustainably will require a collaborative effort among public authorities, educational institutions, and the private sector, focusing on the social appreciation of workers, continuous technical training, and the progressive industrialization of construction sites.
